Guardian Pro combines Overwatch406 reception and decoding of 406 MHz beacon information with Guardian’s live 121.5 MHz directional homing. The 406 MHz receiver does not produce a traditional directional bearing; Guardian provides final homing when a 121.5 MHz signal is available.
Why field teams need both
Two capabilities. One complete field response.
Overwatch406 connects the team directly to the beacon’s digital 406 MHz transmission. Guardian then provides live 121.5 MHz directional homing to the signal source. Together they support the transition from satellite alert to local field response and final approach.
